Navan RFC are delighted to once again be hosting Leinster Rugby for their Bank of Ireland pre-season friendly against Ulster Rugby at Balreask Old on Friday 22nd September with kick-off at 6:30pm.
The game forms part of this season’s #12CountyTour which has seen Leinster Rugby host open training sessions over the last few weeks in Wicklow RFC, Clontarf FC and now take a pre-season game to County Meath and to Navan RFC.
Leinster played Ulster in a pre-season friendly in August 2016 and that game was also played in Navan RFC so it’s a return to a relatively familiar stomping ground for Leo Cullen and his squad.
That game saw a youthful Josh van der Flier, Andrew Porter and Ross Byrne getting some game time ahead of the start of the 2016/17 season. They are now, of course, on their way to the Rugby World Cup with Ireland.
Which future stars of Irish Rugby will get their chance in Navan this time around?
After the game against Ulster Rugby, those in attendance will get the chance to meet the players and coaches of both teams and to get autographs and selfies!
BBQ will be available in the grounds with Entertainment & DJ until late in the clubhouse.
Attendance will be capped and supporters are encouraged to purchase their tickets early.
Tickets from €5/€10 are available on Ticketmaster at the below link plus a very limited amount will be available at the Clubhouse.
