The Men's 1st XV finished their first block of games in this season's Energia All-Ireland League Division 2A campaign with a comprehensive defeat away to league leaders Nenagh Ormond by a scoreline of 46-6.
The first quarter was a close affair with only an unconverted try for the home-side and a Rory Gordon kicked penalty for the visitors keeping the scoreline close.
The midpoint of the first half though was a turning point with Nenagh subsequently running in two more tries before half time with Gordon kicking a second penalty in response.
The second half ended up being a dominated by the Tipperary side with Nenagh grabbing a brace of tries to confirm the win and secure the bonus point to remain at the top of the division.
A disappointing day for the visiting Meath side who now have a week's break before they welcome Ulster side Banbridge to Balreask Old at the beginning of November.
