In their final competitive fixture of 2023, Navan Men's 2nd XV embarked on a journey to County Wexford to face Enniscorthy in the Leinster Metro League Premier 2. The clash unfolded at Alcast Park, resulting in a high-scoring encounter that witnessed a total of nine tries and fifty-five points.
Enniscorthy asserted their dominance early on, securing a victory with a final score of 33-22. The game showcased a competitive spirit, with both teams contributing to an entertaining display of rugby. Navan fought hard, but Enniscorthy's performance proved decisive as they emerged triumphant by eleven points.
Navan Men's 2nd XV now enters a break for the Christmas/New Year period, rejuvenating for the challenges of 2024. The team is set to kick off the new year with a home fixture against Naas in Balreask Old on Sunday, 21st January.
