Navan Women’s 2nd XV continued their impressive winning form in Leinster Women’s League Division 4 with a 31–12 victory away to Birr on Sunday. This five-try performance keeps Navan in strong contention near the top of the league, maintaining pressure on current leaders Roscrea.
Tara Quinn, team captain Paula Keating, and Martina O’Neill each crossed the try line, while Molly Egan delivered an outstanding performance with a brace of tries, earning her the Player of the Match accolade. Anna McGarry added three successful conversions to seal a dominant away win.
Despite a spirited effort from the hosts, Navan’s superior teamwork, tactical execution, and strong finishing made the difference.
Navan will look to continue their momentum in their next fixture, a home game against Wanderers on Sunday, 1st December with a 1pm kick-off.
