Hi All,

A huge thank you to every one of you for helping myself, my two teammates Rosi & Laura and the wider Navan RFC for getting the Centenary walk across the line. It was a fantastic response from minis to seniors, parents & friends.

The weather Gods were on our side with such a fine sunny day. It all worked out so well we slept soundly Saturday night.

The Club hasn’t seen a big crowd for a Six Nations matchday in a long time so maybe it’s a start of something new to use the club facilities & support the Club.

Best wishes for the remainder of the season.
Thank you all again & Happy St Patrick’s Day!

Frankie Reid

Navan RFC Centenary Fundraiser a Huge Success!

Saturday, March 15th, was a day to remember as Navan RFC celebrated its Centenary Fundraiser in glorious sunshine. The club extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated and participated, making the day an overwhelming success. The support from club members and the wider community was truly extraordinary.

A Day of Community & Celebration

The event kicked off at 7am, with Club President Scott Ennis leading the way on a charity walk, joined by members across all levels of the club—including adult teams, youth & Minis, Inclusive Rugby, and social tag players.

A special thank you goes to the organizing committee, led by Frankie Reid, for their outstanding work in putting together a fantastic Family Fun Day, helping raise vital funds for all areas of the club.

Where the Funds Are Going

The money raised will be distributed across three key areas, ensuring both Navan RFC and the wider community benefit from the fundraiser:

1️⃣ Enable Ireland (Navan Office)

  • This amazing organization provides essential services to those in need within the community, and Navan RFC is proud to give back.

2️⃣ Blue Dragons, Minis & Youth Teams

  • Supporting the future of the club, funds will go toward upgrading training equipment such as tackle bags and other essentials. This year alone, €3,500 has already been invested in new rugby balls, with more improvements planned.

3️⃣ Club Facilities & Upgrades

  • To maintain and improve the club, funding will go toward:
✔ Installing a new front door
✔ Purchasing a BBQ and storage unit
     ✔ Upgrading parking facilities
✔ Enhancing Oakleigh and pitch lighting

Navan RFC: More Than Just a Rugby Club

Navan RFC is a community, a place where families can connect, share, and grow together. The club encourages parents to visit the clubhouse, enjoy a coffee, and build lifelong friendships—just as their children do on the pitch.

With kids running, playing, and tackling in a safe and welcoming environment, Navan RFC remains committed to creating a space for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you once again to all who supported this incredible day. Here’s to the future of Navan RFC!
