Navan’s Men’s 3rd's claimed their first league win of the season with a narrow one-point victory over BGF Ravens under the lights at Balreask Old on Friday evening.
The home side crossed for three converted tries, which ultimately proved enough to edge out the visitors from North Dublin City in a closely contested fixture. Both sides exchanged periods of pressure throughout, but Navan’s defensive resilience in the closing stages secured the win.
The result lifts Navan to fifth place in the Leinster Metro Division 7 table ahead of their next fixture against CYM, which takes place at Balreask Old on Saturday, 18th October (3.00pm kick-off).
