The Women's 1st's welcomed Wicklow J1 to Balreask Old for their first home game of Division One.

After last week's narrow loss Navan sought to right some wrongs from the game.

Anna Bolger directed the game, and put Molly Fitzgerald  in for her first try of the day after 5 minutes. 

Navan built on this momentum, going into the break with a  commanding lead.

However Wicklow came out in the second half and stemmed the attack of Navan. Putting pressure on at crucial times.

Nicola Bolger on her first cap for Navan scored under the posts, Emily Jo White and Alex Connor both got their names on the score sheet following some momentous work from the forwards.

Head Coach Jackie Shiels should be delighted with a good first win in their maiden season in Division One.

Player of the Match goes to Rosie Searle with a three try performance from the recently capped Leinster player.
