The Women’s 2nd XV hosted Kilkenny 1st XV in Round 3 of the Leinster Women’s League Division 3, falling 21–7 after a strong second-half display.

Kilkenny opened the scoring early, running in three first-half tries to establish a commanding lead at the break. However, Navan regrouped after the restart, showing renewed determination in both attack and defence.

Out-half Anna McGarry, was named Player of the Match, who directed play effectively, with Tara Quinn and Kaetlin Wallace delivering standout performances in the pack.

Full-back Rosie O’Neill was solid under pressure, confidently fielding Kilkenny’s kicking game, while Leanne O’Neill scored Navan’s only try following a well-worked phase, converted by McGarry.

Navan now take a deserved break before travelling to face Barnhall J1 on Sunday, 2nd November.
