Navan RFC Women's 1st XV travelled to Athy for Round Four of the Leinster League. Always a great game between the two teams. 

Navan started well with Nicola Bolger scoring under the posts after a Jackie Shiels off load. Aoife Ryan nabbed a try for herself on the right wing after an excellent take by Sophia Murdock.

Alex Connor set the tone of the game, moving the ball and organising. 

Navan worked well as a team unit, creating chances that were well executed.

Player of the Match was Alex Connor, who has excelled this year in the Senior Team, showing her years  of rugby. She demonstrated all the qualities of a 9, with skill and precision.

Navan now look ahead to playing top of the table Barnhall at home in Balreask Old next Sunday with a 1pm kick-off.
