Hello Navan Rugby Community!
I’m Frankie Reid (née Finnegan), and my family has been proudly involved in Navan Rugby Club since 1925!
With that legacy in mind, I’ve taken it upon myself to organize a Family Fun Day to raise much-needed funds for all areas of our beloved rugby club – and I need your help to make it a fantastic event.

Where Will the Funds Go?
We are splitting the proceeds three ways to ensure we support not just the club but also our wider community:
- 20% to Enable Ireland (Navan Office) – This incredible organization provides essential services in our community, and we’re proud to give back to them.
- 20% to Our Blue Dragons, Minis & Youth Teams – These young players are the backbone and future players & members of our club. Funds will go toward upgrading training equipment, including tackle bags and other essentials. We’ve already invested €3,500 in new rugby balls this year, and we want to keep building on that!
- 60% for Club Facilities & Upgrades – The club needs ongoing support to maintain and improve facilities, including:
- Installing a new front door
- Purchasing a new BBQ and storage unit
- Upgrading parking facilities
- Enhancing Oakleigh and pitch lighting
Why Get Involved?
Navan RFC is more than just a club – it’s a community. Our facilities are there to be enjoyed, and we want more parents to come into the clubhouse, have a coffee, make new friends, and create lifelong connections for themselves and their children.
Kids love playing after games, running in the hall, and tackling on the pitch – and at Navan RFC, they can do so in a safe and welcoming environment.

How Can You Help?
- Each family is asked to take a sponsor card for the walk and two books of raffle tickets to sell.
- Target per team: €1,000 – Larger teams can easily exceed this, while smaller teams can contribute their best efforts.
- We need raffle prizes! If you or your business can donate or sponsor a prize, it would be greatly appreciated.
